You are welcome to purchase your tickets in advance, with online ticketing, or to pay at the Ticket Office on arrival (card transactions only).

Please note: Tickets are not transferable between days and are non-refundable.

We are delighted to have been awarded the ‘Good to Go’ mark from Visit Britain, which certifies that we have the necessary processes in place to meet Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines. The Botanic Garden is a 15-minute walk from Cambridge city centre and 5 minutes from Cambridge train station, with entrances on Trumpington Road (Brookside Gate) and Hills Road (Station Road Gate).

Opening times

  • April – September 10:00am – 6:00pm

In June and July 2021, the Garden is open until 8pm on Thursdays.

We are open every day throughout the year except for Christmas closure – 24 December to 1 January (inclusive).

Last paid admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
